Aldridge hit .555(15-27) in eight games played this week, including 10 RBI. In the third game of the series against Marist, his two-run RBI single with two outs, tied up the game in the seventh inning at four.
MAAC Pitcher of the Week
CHAD GALLAGHER, MARIST
Junior, LHP, 6-4, 195, Southboro, Mass./St. John's
Gallagher pitched a nine-inning complete game shutout as Marist defeated Niagara 4-0 in the first game of a doubleheader on April 30. In his shutout performance, he allowed just six hits and one walk while striking out six. Gallagher became the first Red Fox to toss a nine-inning complete game shutout since Lucas Robinson did it at Fairfield on March 28, 2004.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
JOSE TORRALBA, CANISIUS
Freshman, 2B, 5-10, 178, Mississauga, Ontario/St. Joseph Secondary
Torralba led Canisius with a .538 batting average in five games last week. He had seven hits and posted a .647 on-base percentage. Torralba had three multi-hit games and reached base in all three of his plate appearances in the 3-1 in at Rider, including a two-out, two-RBI single in the sixth innings that proved to score the game-winning runs.
