KRISTEN FILICIA, FAIRFIELD
Freshman, SS, 5-5, San Diego, Calif./Torrey Pines
Filicia, the lead-off hitter, batted .529 over six games last week as the Stags posted a 4-2 record. She had at least one hit in all six games and recorded three games with two hits. Filicia stroked one double, which came against Manhattan and stole six bases. In four conference games, she batted .500 with five steals, an RBI and five runs scored.
MAAC Pitcher of the Week
SARAH MINICE, FAIRFIELD
Senior, P, 5-8, Bellevue, Wash./Sammamish
Minice won both of her starts last week, including a five-inning perfect game against Saint Peter's. She also tossed a three-hitter against Manhattan, yielding just one earned run in 12 innings. Minice struck out 13 Manhattan hitters and eight Peahen batters for 21 total strikeouts in 12 innings pitched. She only yielded one walk in her 12 innings and owned 0.58 ERA for the week.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
LAUREN LISETH, FAIRFIELD
Freshman, C/SS, 5-9, Centralia, Wash./Centralia
Liseth batted .350 for the week and .462 against MAAC opponents as the Stags posted a 4-2 week. For the week, she batted. 350 with seven hits and eight RBI with a double and a triple in six starts. Against the conference, Liseth batted .462 with two triples and five RBI with a .769 slugging percentage and a .462 on-base percentage. She was perfect in the field, handling all 47 chances in the six games.
