Offensive Player of the Week
Jennifer Meier, Rider, So., F, 5-3, Sayville, NY/St. Anthony's
Meier scored three goals in the Broncs' 3-0 win at Bryant University, just the sixth hat trick in the 14-year history of Rider women's soccer. In 0-0 tie at FDU, she made three shots, including one on goal, and then recorded three shots, all three on goal, at Bryant. On the season, Meier had made 14 shots, with eight shots on goal.
Defensive Player of the Week
Kelly Boudreau, Fairfield, Sr., GK, 5-8, Farmington, Conn./Farmington
Boudreau made a season-high seven saves on the day, with big stops coming in each period. As the first-half was winding down, she denied Hofstra's Lauren Green, who was in alone. Midway through the second-half, Amber Stobbs got inside the box and had what looked like a goal, but Boudreau was able to tip it over the cross bar.
Rookie of the Week
Danielle Singson, Rider, Fr., GK, 5-8, Deer Park, NY/St. Anthony's
Singson recorded five saves and did not give up a goal in two starts last week for the Broncs. In the 0-0 tie against FDU and the 3-0 win at Bryant, she started both games and played the first half in each game. This season, Singson has played the first half of all three games and has yet to allow a goal (0 goals after three games and eight saves).
