Hill had 42 kills, an average of 4.7 kill-per-set, and a
.398 hitting percentage, leading Marist to a weekend sweep to open MAAC play at
2-0. She recorded a double-double with a match-high 19 kills and 10 digs
against Rider on Saturday. The 19 kills came against only two attacking errors
for a .486 hitting percentage for the match. In Sunday's matchup versus Loyola,
Hill again led all hitters with 23 kills, while only committing five errors for
a .340 hitting percentage. She also added 7 digs in the win.
Defensive Player of the Week

Morgan, Niagara, Sr., Libero, 5-9, Cincinnati, Ohio/ Colerain
Morgan averaged 6.40 digs per set in three matches for the Purple
Eagles, including leading the match in digs in sweeps over Iona and Fairfield
with 22 and 24 digs, respectively. Morgan, who entered last week seventh in the
nation in digs per set, extended her NCAA-best double-digit digs streak to 110
matches. Morgan nearly had a flawless reception percentage, having one error on
47 attempts (.979 percent).
Rookie of the Week
Catrina Warren, Iona, Fr., Middle Blocker, 6-0, Rancho Cucamonga,
CA/Los Osos
Warren hit a team best .333 with 16 kills in Iona's 1-1
weekend. In the win over Canisius, Warren hit .389 with 11 kills, seven blocks,
seven digs and three aces. Her tough serve resulted in 16 points for the Maroon
& Gold in the match.
