Gonzales Hired as General Manager of MAAC Sports Properties

Edison, N.J. - Chris Gonzales has been appointed as General Manager of
MAAC Sports Properties by Pattison Sports Group, the exclusive sponsorship
holder of the MAAC.
Gonzales will oversee all current and potential corporate partners,
marketing and promotional initiatives, as well as the MAAC Television package.
A
Yonkers, N.Y. native, Gonzales comes to the Conference after serving as the
Assistant Athletics Director for External Operations at Mercy College, a
Division II school in Westchester County, N.Y. While there, he oversaw all media
relations duties and handled corporate partnerships.
Gonzales
started his sales career with Sports Systems Services, Inc., based in Fort Lee,
N.J., before continuing at PrestoSports, Inc., a website design and hosting
company in Rockville, Md.
No stranger
to the MAAC, Gonzales has worked numerous events for the conference and its
member schools over the years, including several MAAC-hosted NCAA Championships.
A former student-athlete at
Hobart College, where he graduated in 1993 with a B.A. in Classics, he resides
in Cedar Grove, N.J.
