Riverdale, NY - On Sunday, September
18, 2011 the Manhattan College Women's Basketball team and coaches served as
volunteers at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Central Park. The team
arrived at the event around 6 a.m and finished around noon. They helped the volunteer
crew set-up the event and helped at various "hydration stations,"
which were set up along the path of the walk to keep participants hydrated.
Additionally, they assisted with the distribution of food and water to
participants and volunteers at the finish line.
