Siena Hosts Rider on Thursday on ESPN3

Edison, N.J. - The next matchup on the 2011-12 MAAC Basketball Broadcast Schedule features Siena College hosting Rider University on Thursday, January 12. Game time is slated for 7:00 p.m. at the Times Union Center, and the National MAAC Game of the Week will air live on ESPN3.
Rider, 6-11 overall and 3-2 in the MAAC, is led by sophomore forward Daniel Stewart, who is contributing 13.5 points and 7.1 rebounds per game, and senior guard Jeff Jones, who is posting 12.6 points and 2.2 rebounds an outing for the Broncs.
Siena, 7-8 overall and 2-3 in the MAAC, is led by freshman guard Evan Hymes, who is registering 14.9 points and 3.5 assists per game, and junior forward OD Anosike, who is averaging 14.1 points and a nation-best 12.4 rebounds an outing for the Saints.
This contest marks the 36th all-time meeting between the two programs, with the Saints holding a 24-11 advantage in the series with the Broncs.
