Erik Etherly, Loyola, Jr., F, 6-7, 225, Alexandria, Va./Annandale H.S.

Etherly led the Greyhounds to a 72-67 victory over Bucknell University on Wednesday, a win that snapped the Bison's 18-game home-court winning streak. The junior forward scored 10 of his team-high 18 in the second half as Loyola topped the Preseason Patriot League favorite. Etherly led Loyola as well with eight rebounds, as the Greyhounds outrebounded Bucknell, 36-25. He matched his career-high with four assists and was one off his career-best with a season-high four blocked shots. Late in the first half, Etherly scored four straight points to help Loyola take a four-point lead at the break. In the second half, he hit the second 3-pointer of his career to put Loyola up five, and he made 5-of-6 free throws down the stretch to help the Greyhounds overcome a three-point deficit in the final five minutes.

OD Anosike, Siena, Jr., F, 6-8, 232, Staten Island, N.Y./St. Peter's Boys

Anosike ran his nation-leading double-double streak to eight straight games with a 17-point, 13-rebound in the Saints upset of Sun Belt East favorite Florida Atlantic on the road. He anchored a Siena frontline that dominated the glass, posting a 43-31 rebounding advantage over the athletic Owls. Anosike made 6-11 field goals, 5-7 free throws and added two assists, a block and a steal in 38 minutes. He scored six of Siena's first nine points in the second half, helping the Saints quickly erase a three-point halftime deficit. Anosike's 12 rebounds per game tie for the third highest average in the nation, and he has reached double figures in the category in all but one game this season.


Rookie of the Week
Emmy Andujar, Manhattan, Fr., F, 6-5, 205, Bronx, N.Y./Rice

Andujar registered 13 points, a career-high eight assists and had five rebounds over 23 minutes of action in the Jaspers' 43-point rout of Binghamton on Friday. He shot 6-for-8 from the field with one 3-pointer, and he committed only one turnover in the Jaspers' largest margin of victory on the road since the 1972-73 campaign.
