Thompson scored in each of Loyola's games this weekend, including the game-winner in double overtime to give the Greyhounds a 3-2 win over Saint Peter's and clinch a berth in the upcoming MAAC Championship. He also sent a corner kick into the corner of the goal against Manhattan to help Loyola to a 3-0 win versus the Jaspers, extending the Greyhounds' win streak to seven-straight games - their longest since 2008. So far this season, Thompson has six goals and six assists.

Defensive Player of the Week

Petricek helped push the Niagara men's soccer team to a pair of conference victories this past weekend, with wins over Fairfield and Iona. He made a total of eight saves in two games to keep both opponents off the scoreboard for two straight shutouts. The senior made two saves in the 1-0 win over Fairfield on Friday, and added another six stops against Iona for the 1-0 victory. The two wins secured a spot in the MAAC Championship for the Purple Eagles. Petricek owns a 0.76 goals-against average and a .856 save percentage, with five shutouts to his name.

Rookie of the Week

Larry Ndjock, Loyola University Maryland
Fr., F, 5-9, 172, Berlin, Germany/Julius-Leber-Schule

Ndjock scored three goals in a 2-0 week for the Greyhounds. He notched two goals in a 3-2 double-overtime win over Saint Peter's, a win that clinched the Greyhounds a spot in the upcoming MAAC Championship. He then tacked on another goal in 19 minutes of play against Manhattan to notch his league-leading 13th goal of the season and mark his fourth-straight game with a goal. Ndjock's 13 goals also mark the most for an individual Greyhound in a season since Phil Bannister had 13 in 2007.
