MAAC Basketball Doubleheader on Thursday on ESPN3

Edison, N.J. - Marist College's McCann Arena will be the site for the next MAAC men's and women's basketball doubleheader to be broadcasted this season on Thursday, February 23. Both National MAAC Games of the Week will air live on ESPN3.
The first game of the twin bill will feature a match-up between the women's programs from Iona College and Marist at 6:00 p.m. Iona, 11-16 overall and 7-9 in the MAAC, is led by freshman guard Damika Martinez, who is contributing 16.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game, and senior forward Kristina Ford, who is posting 19.4 points and 7.2 rebounds an outing for the Gaels. Marist, 20-7 overall and 15-1 in the MAAC, is led by senior guard Corielle Yarde, who is registering 14.3 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, and senior forward Brandy Gang, who is averaging 11.9 points and 3.5 caroms a night for the Red Foxes.
Game two has the men's teams from Siena College and Marist for a 9:00 p.m. tip-off. Siena, 12-15 overall and 7-9 in the MAAC, is led by senior forward OD Anosike, who is averaging 15.1 points and a nation-best 12.7 rebounds per game, as well as freshman guard Evan Hymes, who is contributing 14.0 points and 3.5 assists an outing for the Saints. Marist, 11-17 overall and 5-11 in the MAAC, is led by freshman guard/forward Chavaughn Lewis, who is averaging 13.8 points and 4.4 rebounds an outing, and junior guard Devin Price, who is netting 13.5 points and grabbing 2.9 rebounds a night for the Red Foxes.
