Offensive Player of the Week

Kylie Gregory, Iona, Jr., Attack, 5-10, Bethpage, NY/Bethpage

Junior Kylie Gregory scored a career-high six goals as the Iona College lacrosse team defeated Mount St. Mary's University 17-5. She also picked up two ground balls in the victory on Saturday. Gregory's eighteen goals this season leads the Gaels.   

Defensive Player of the Week

Morgan Leonard, Canisius, Jr., Midfield, 5-6, Sykesville, Md./Liberty HS

Leonard anchored the Canisius defense during the week, collecting a team-best eight caused turnovers in three games to go along with seven ground balls and six draw controls. Leonard recorded a career-best four caused turnovers against Binghamton in addition to adding two goals on the offensive end.

Rookie of the Week

Courtney Pierce, Niagara, Fr., Attack, 5-6, Schuylerville, N.Y./ Schuylerville

Pierce paced the Purple Eagles offense in both game this past week against St. Bonaventure on Wednesday, and Gannon on Saturday.  She played a pivotal role in the 10-8 victory over the Lady Knights, tabbing a goal and an assist.  Her goal pushed the Purple Eagles within one of the Lady Knights, helping Niagara start their 5-1 run in the second half. 

In the St. Bonaventure game, Pierce tabbed two goals for two points, racking up five looks on net.
