McCauley
again led the way offensively for the Purple Eagles in their six games last
week, highlighted by his performance in the opening game of the weekend series
against the Longwood Lancers when he hit for the cycle and reached base all
five times he was at the plate. In Friday's game he added two RBI and
three runs scored. In the doubleheader on Saturday, the junior went a
combined 5-for-9 with seven RBIs and two runs scored on a double and a home
run. In the closer on Sunday, McCauley went 2-for-4 and added another two
RBIs. In total he had a .462 average (12-26), 11 RBIs, three doubles, one
triple, and a pair of homeruns.

Hopf led the Peacocks
to a 13-0 victory in the front end of a double-header Sunday afternoon against
the Savannah State University Bulls. The sophomore from Woodbridge, N.J. pitched
seven scoreless innings en route to his first career shutout. Hopf gave up just
3 hits and walked none, while striking out a career-high 9 batters of 25 faced.

Parsons batted .438 with a .625 slugging
percentage in four games for the Broncs last week. He had seven hits, including
three doubles, three RBI, and scored twice. In a 4-3 win over Charleston
Southern Parsons reached base four times on three hits, including a pair of
doubles. Against
Lafayette, his second hit of the day, an RBI double in the eighth inning, cut
the lead to 6-3.
