Senior co-captain Chelsea Beck
amassed an impressive 14 total points for Wagner at the Roadrunner Invitational
this past weekend. Totaling a
weekend-high four goals opposite No. 19 Long Beach State, the Keystone state

and one in both games opposite CSU Bakersfield and Fresno Pacific. Beck added five more points to her weekend
tally with three assists against CSU Bakersfield and two in the overtime win
over Fresno Pacific including assisting the game-winning goal in the second
overtime period.
Defensive Player of the Week
Rebecca Thomas, Marist
So., GK, 5-11, Cape Town, South
Africa/Univ. of Cape Town
Thomas continues to be a stalwart
in the Marist goal this season. She averaged over nine saves per game over the
three games she played in for the Red Foxes this past weekend, while having a
goals against average of just 7.00. She had a .571 save percentage for the
weekend, including an astounding .722 percentage in a defensive battle against
Brown where she made 13 saves while only allowing five goals. She held a
powerful Michigan offense, ranked ninth in the country, to just 10 goals while
making 10 saves and adding a steal, allowing Marist to make a comeback effort
that fell just short. She made five saves in a win over Gannon and added an
assist as well.
Rookie of the Week
Callan Edwards, Villanova
Fr., Dr., 5-1, Oxnard, Calif./Agoura

six goals on the weekend and had eight points overall. The Oxnard, Calif., native had her best
individual performance against the Notre Dame Falcons posting five points

victory. She provided a third of the
offensive production for that game, notching four of the 12 goals scored. Against SIU, Edwards tallied an assist and a
steal to help the team earn a 17-3 win.
In the third and final game for Villanova, she posted two goals and
stole three from the Golden Knights of Gannon in a 15-14 decision.
