Matthews
was nearly unstoppable as he tied a Titan record with a career-high seven goals
and added an assist for a career and Titan record eight points in the win at
Canisius. Matthews too just eight shots
in the game for his seven goals. He also picked up two ground balls and had a
caused turnover.

Sophomore
goalkeeper Rich Akapnitis made a career high 19 saves, including one with less
than five seconds remaining, to preserve an 11-10 Manhattan win over Binghamton
on Saturday. The victory was Akapnitis'
second of the season, and kept the Jaspers perfect at Gaelic Park. His 19th save of the game came
with three seconds on the clock that allowed Manhattan to win their second game
in a row. He was also instrumental in
keeping the Bearcats off the board by picking up a game high eight ground balls
in the game. So far this year, the
sophomore is averaging 15.5 saves per game with a .590 save percentage and a
goals against average of 10.75.

DeBlasio
turned in a pair of hat tricks, dropping three goals in VMI's game against
Wagner and Siena this week. His six
goals this week tripled his season production while shooting 42.9 percent for
the week.
