Riverdale, N.Y. - On Friday , March
16th, the Manhattan College Baseball team continued the "Cleaning Up The
Bronx Campaign." The campaign will continue throughout the semester, with
other clean up sites scheduled.
The event ran from 12noon - 5pm, 34 players and 3 coaches were involved in
cleaning up Van Cortlandt Park. By installing the "Cleaning Up The Bronx
Campaign," the Manhattan College Athletic Department is hoping to be
active in the surrounding community by focusing their clean up efforts on the
Riverdale and Kingsbridge sections of the Bronx.
