Beck
posted tremendous offensive numbers in leading the Gaels to a 3-1 week. Beck
batted .625 with 10 hits in 16 at bats. He scored four runs and drove in eight.
With three doubles and a home run, Beck slugged 1.000 and posted a .632 on-base
percentage. Beck also stole a base and was perfect on 14 chances on defense,
splitting time between left field and catcher. He had multiple hits and multiple
runs batted in in three of the four contests last week including a four RBI
effort at New York Tech on Thursday and a four hit effort in the series finale
vs. Fairfield on Saturday.

Gallagher
flirted with a perfect game in tossing a complete game two-hit shutout as
Marist opened conference play with a 1-0 win over Manhattan in the first game
of a doubleheader on Saturday. He retired the first 19 Jaspers he faced, and no
Manhattan baserunner got as far as third base in the game. Gallagher went the
distance with a total of just 92 pitches, 61 of which went for strikes. He did
not walk or hit a batter, and recorded two strikeouts. He also induced 17
groundball outs as he pitched his second straight complete game.

Scarinci came out of the bullpen and stifled Marist
for five innings en route to his first career victory
on Sunday in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Scarinci allowed only two hits and struck out
two Red Foxes helping Manhattan earn a 7-3 comeback win. Scarinci retired 12 of
13 batters faced in the final four frames, while the Manhattan offense scored
six runs in the last three innings to secure the win over Marist.
