Reznek
was instrumental for the Red Foxes this past weekend, going 3-0 in singles
matches to lead Marist to a 2-1 weekend at the Yale Invitational. His comeback
victory, 4-6, 6-3, 6-3, at the fourth singles position against Stony Brook
started a massive comeback that saw the Red Foxes come back from a 3-0 deficit
to win 4-3. Marist pulled off the same feat against Farleigh Dickinson, in
large part to Reznek's individual win, again at the fourth singles slot. He
provided the lone singles win for the Red Foxes against Yale of the powerful
Ivy League, 7-6, 4-6, 10-7. He also won a doubles match 8-2,
in the match against Farleigh Dickinson.

Women's Player of the Week

In the women's one dual of the week against the
University of Albany, Victoria Pirrello was the deciding match at No. 5
singles. Tied at 3-all and everyone on court cheering, Pirrello came back from
match point down at 8-9 in the final set 10 point tie breaker to defeat her
opponent 11-9. The match was secured by a beautiful cross-court, touch volley
winner. The final score for her singles performance was 7-5, 6-7 (4), 11-9.
