Rider Sweeps Outdoor Track & Field Weekly Awards

Edison, NJ - Rider University's
James Burroughs and Mia Riley earned the MAAC Men's and Women's Outdoor Track
Performer of the Week awards, respectively.
Burroughs,
a junior from West Orange, N.J., finished third in the 110-meter hurdles with
an IC4A qualifying time of 14.63 at Princeton's Larry Ellis Invitational.
Burroughs also placed 11th in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of
54.45.
Riley,
a junior from West Caldwell, N.J., was eighth in the 100-meters with an ECAC
qualifying time of 12.03 at the Larry Ellis Invitational. She then completed an
unlikely double by running 4:49.18 in the 1500-meters.
The 2012 MAAC Outdoor
Track & Field Championships will be held Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May
6 on the campus of Rider University in Lawrenceville, N.J.
