McKenzie led Rider to a 2-0
week, averaging 14.5 points and 10.5 rebounds as the Broncs won against Saint
Peter's and pulled off the upset win at Fairfield. Against the Stags, McKenzie
played all 40 minutes and scored 19 points while pulling down 12 rebounds for
her eighth 'double-double' of the season and 20th of her career. She added two
steals in the final 1:16 of the game after Fairfield cut Rider's lead to
six. Against Saint Peter's, McKenzie almost had her second 'double-double' scoreing 10 points and adding nine rebounds,
four on the offensive glass in 29 minutes of action.
Emma O'Connor, Marist,
Junior, Forward, 6-0, Lynbrook, N.Y./Kellenberg Memorial
In front of a
national, ESPN3 audience, O'Connor put together a career performance Friday
night in Marist's lone game last week at Manhattan. The junior forward scored a
career high 20 points while tying her personal best with eight made field
goals, shooting at an 80% clip for the night. She was 2-3 from three-point
range, hitting both in an 11-2 run near the end of the first half that kick-started
the Red Foxes' offense and gave them the lead for good. She added another six
points and an assist while playing stout defense in Marist's deciding 23-4 run
to start the second half, holding Manhattan to just two made field goals over a
10:30 span. O'Connor tied for the team lead by grabbing six rebounds and
dishing out three assists while also making two steals on the defensive end.

Adams, Iona, Freshman, Forward, 5-11, Orlando, FL / Evans
Adams averaged
11.5 points and 12 rebounds for the Gaels. Against Niagara, Adams scored a game high 17 points and pulled down 15
rebounds, collecting her seventh 'double-double' of the season. At Loyola, Adams had a game high nine rebounds and matched a season
high with two assists.
