Monmouth Women's Soccer Climb to No. 7 In Region

EDISON, NJ – The latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) regional rankings has the Monmouth University women’s soccer team ranked No. 7 in the Northeast Region. The Hawks, now 8-1 overall, entered the ranking at No. 10 on Sept. 10, and have climbed a spot in each of the last three weeks. Monmouth is also anked 58th in the lastest RPI.

The Top Ten in the Northeast Region are:  Georgetown, Connecticut, Marquette, Louisville, Rutgers and St. John’s, rated Nos. 1 – 6. Following the Hawks are South Florida, DePaul and Stony Brook.

Monmouth, which is 5-0 at home this year, resumes MAAC play on Wednesday, Oct., 2, when it hosts Manhattan at 7 p.m.
