MAAC Releases New App Featuring Live HD Video Streaming

Edison, N.J. - The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference released a new MAAC App available for purchase in the iTunes store. The app will feature live HD video and audio streaming from MAAC.TV partner schools. Canisius College, Fairfield University, Iona College, Manhattan College, Marist College, Monmouth University, Rider University and Saint Peter’s University are all members of MAAC.TV.
Any event that is broadcast in HD will be available to consumers who have purchased a MAAC.TV account through the MAAC App. The MAAC will broadcast as many MAAC Championships and Post-Season Awards Shows as possible in HD that will be offered in the app as well. All Post-Season Awards Shows are available free of cost to customers.
“The new MAAC App is an important step in the conference’s ability to deliver HD quality broadcasts of contests to its fans across multiple platforms,” notes MAAC Commissioner, Richard Ensor. “The MAAC membership is appreciative of its web provider NeuLion for its efforts to launch this product as MAAC.TV seeks wider national distribution of MAAC sports.”
Fans of the MAAC can purchase the new MAAC app for $5.99 by searching for “MAAC Sports” in the search bar. The app will also feature on-demand videos from MAAC.TV, Live Stats from sporting events across the league, scores, schedules and standings.
