Griffs Baseball Volunteers at Light the Night Walk

Buffalo, N.Y. - On September 27, Canisius Baseball team volunteered at Buffalo's Light the Night Walk in Delaware Park to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The team was responsible for the distribution of food and drinks to all walkers who were participating in the event. Groups were stationed throughout the course to provide food and support to walkers throughout the event.
Light the Night Walk is part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Participants and/or teams raise money through fundraising prior to the event. The money goes straight to research for finding a cure to combat leukemia and lymphoma. Fund as go towards paying medical expenses for those diagnosed with leukemia and lymphona. Light the Night Walks are held nationwide and offer many simple ways for people to get involved in the battle against leukemia and lymphoma.
