Iona's Catrina Warren Named Corvias ECAC Volleyabll Co-Player of the Week

Edison, N.J. - Iona College junior Catrina Warren was named Corvias ECAC Division I Volleyball Co-Player of the Week.
Warren, who was selected by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) as its Co-Player of the Week on Tuesday, led the Gaels to two MAAC victories this weekend at the Hynes Center. Warren led Iona with 31 kills, 28 digs and a .358 hitting percentage in the two matches, an average of 4.43 kills and 4.00 digs per set. She also recorded three blocks and an ace. Warren had two double-doubles with 20 kills and 17 digs vs. Rider Saturday and 11 kills and 11 digs in a three-set win over Saint Peter's Sunday. In the fourth and match-deciding set vs. the Broncs she posted seven kills and seven digs to lead the Maroon & Gold. The next day, Warren hit .476 vs. the Peacocks with one error in 21 attempts.
