Riverdale, N.Y. - On 10/20/2013, the Manhattan College Men's & Women's Swimming teams walked for the Light the Night organization, at Provident Park, NY, which supports the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. According to the organization's website, "Light The Night Walk funds treatments that are saving the lives of patients today. LLS is making cures happen by providing patient support services, advocacy for lifesaving treatments and the most promising cancer research anywhere." In total, Light the Night raised $129,394.53 during this date's volunteering efforts.
