2014 NCAA Men's Basketball Tix On Sale Oct. 19

EDISON, NJ -- Tickets to the preliminary rounds of the 2014 NCAA® Division I Men’s Basketball Championship, including the second and third rounds to be held at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, N.Y., will go on sale on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 10 a.m. Fans looking to purchase tickets to the First Four, second- and third-round games, or regional competition should go to www.NCAA.com/mbbtickets.
Tickets packages for the second and third round games at the First Niagara Center are $252 for the lower bowl and $198 for the upper bowl. The package includes four games on March 20 and two games on March 22.
The NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship tips off with the First Four® in Dayton, OH, on March 18-19. Second and third round action takes place in Buffalo and seven other cities, March 20-23. The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) and league members Canisius and Niagara are serving as hosts for the second and third round games at the First Niagara Center on March 20 and 22 (Thursday-Saturday).
Other second and third round sites include Milwaukee, Orlando, and Spokane (March 20 and 22) and Raleigh, San Antonio, San Diego and St. Louis (March 21-23).
This is the fifth time since 2000 that Buffalo has been a host city for the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship, and all four of the previous tourneys were sell outs. The University of Connecticut team that won the 2004 National Championship launched its tournament run in Buffalo.
The Regionals will be held the following weekend, in Anaheim (West) and Memphis (South) on March 27-29 (Thursday-Saturday). Indianapolis (Midwest) and New York City’s Madison Square Garden will host Regionals on March 28-30 (Friday-Sunday).
The 76th Men’s Final Four will be hosted by North Texas April 5 and 7. General tickets to the games at AT&T Stadium in Arlington are sold out, but fans still have the opportunity to purchase The NCAA Experience® ticket and hospitality packages by visiting www.NCAA.com/VIP.
