Monmouth Clinches Berth In Men's Soccer Championship

EDISON, N.J. – With a scoreless tie at Manhattan College on Wednesday night, the Monmouth University men’s soccer team clinched a berth in the upcoming 2013 MAAC Championships, Nov. 15-17 at Fairfield University.
Freshman goalkeeper Eric Klenofsky made four saves in the double overtime match for the Hawks, who pushed their league record to 6-0-2. Monmouth is 7-5-4 overall. Goalkeeper Alex Coates McDowall made five saves for the Jaspers. Manhattan is now 3-2-2 in league play, and 3-9-2 overall.
