Matty Berman
Marist – Men’s Soccer

A captain on this year's team, Berman is in his second year with the program after playing his freshman season at Rutgers in 2011. Since joining the Red Foxes, Berman has started all 27 of the team's contests over the last two seasons. He had his first assist of the season in Marist's 2-1 triumph over Saint Peter's on Oct. 12. This past June, Berman was selected to appear in the NCAA Career in Sports Forum in Indianapolis. He is a Communication major with a concentration in Sports Communication who was nominated for the MAAC All-Academic Team this fall.
Ellie Wiekamp
Manhattan - Volleyball
Sr.—Laguna Niguel, Calif.
Ellie Wiekamp has been one of the most consistent performers for the Jaspers this season, leading the squad with 2.72 kills per set and ranking second on the team with 2.73 digs per set, as Manhattan is currently in second place with a 7-1 MAAC record. A fifth-year senior set to graduate in December, Wiekamp has been a team captain in each of her two seasons since joining the program. She’s also an active member of Manhattan’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
