Monmouth Ranked Seventh In Latest NSCAA Regional Poll

EDISON, N.J. -- Now 10-1 overall and unbeaten with a 4-0 mark in MAAC play, the Monmouth University women's soccer team is ranked seventh in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Northeast Region poll.
The Hawks have been ranked in the Northeast Region since September 10, and are No. 7 for the second straight week. Monmouth won twice last week in MAAC play, blanking Manhattan 6-0 and Fairfield 2-0.
Leading the Northeast Region is Georgetown with an 11-0-2 mark. The Hoyas are followed by Marquette, Louisville, South Florida, Connecticut, and Rutgers at No. 6. Following Monmouth are DePaul, St. John's and Stony Brook.
The Hawks are ranked 57th in the latest RPI.
