Cooper Roach – Canisius College
Cross Country, So., 6-1, Honeoye Falls, N.Y./ Honeoye Falls-Lima
Through the Griffs’ four races this season, sophomore Cooper Roach has been consistently near the front of the pack, finishing in the top-10 overall in each race and has been the Griffs’ top finisher in all but one. Roach opened the season with a new 5k-career best at the Little Three Invitational with a time of 15:52 in his second place finish. Roach then cruised to a ninth place finish at the National Catholic Championships on Sept. 20. Roach then raced to his career-best time at the 8k distance at the Paul Short Run (25:20) during a fourth place finish. Roach followed up that performance by winning the Canisius Alumni Classic.
Brittany Pfaff - Siena College
Women's Soccer, Sr., F/M 5-5, Charlotte, Vt./Rice Memorial
Siena's senior co-captain has enjoyed a tremendous career and final season both on and off the field. A three-time MAAC Offensive Player of the Week this fall, Pfaff leads the conference in scoring with 30 points through the end of the regular season. The Siena Athletics September Female Student Athlete of the Month, Pfaff has maintained a 3.34 cumulative GPA while majoring in Psychology, and has been named to the MAAC All-Academic and Honor Roll teams each of the past two seasons. She was a Second Team All-MAAC selection last season, following her freshman year when she was named Siena College's Female Rookie of the Year and a MAAC All-Rookie Team selection after helping guide the Saints to the program's first MAAC Championship.
