Five MAAC Volleyball Student-Athletes Named to Capital One Academic All-District Teams

Edison, N.J. – The Capital One Academic All‐District ® Volleyball Teams feature five MAAC student-athletes, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). The District I First Team includes Fairfield University’s Hayley Moyer, Iona College’s Taylor Cembalisty, Marist College’s Brooke Zywick, and Siena College’s Taylor Akana, while Saint Peter’s University’s Laura Reinhart was named to the District II First Team.
The 2013‐14 Capital One Academic All‐District ® Volleyball Teams, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America, have been released to recognize the nation’s top student‐athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. Capital One has been the entitlement rights holder to CoSIDA’s Academic All‐America teams programs since 2011.
First-team Academic All-District ® honorees advance to the Capital One Academic All-America® Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
