Junior guard Desi Washington poured in a career-high 34 points, including the game winning three-point field goal with 3.3 seconds remaining, to give Saint Peter’s a 83-80 overtime victory over Seton Hall. The victory ended Saint Peter’s 17-game losing streak against the Pirates (dating back to Dec., 1995). Washington sank 10-of-17 from the floor, including 7-of-9 from beyond the three-point arc, and 7-of-9 from the free throw line. Washington hit a number of key baskets during the game, including a three-pointer with 42 seconds left in OT to give the Peacocks a 78-75 lead, as well as the game winner less than 40 seconds later. Washington added five rebounds, two steals, and one block in the winning cause.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
KHALLID HART, Marist

Red-shirt freshman guard Khallid Hart contributed 16 points to help the Red Foxes to a 69-62 win at the College of Charleston. The victory was the first of the year for Marist, and snapped a nine game losing streak. Hart was good on 6-of-12 shots from the field, and sank 2-of-5 from beyond the three-point arc. Hart scored seven points in a critical 16-4 run in the first half that put Marist in the lead for good. Hart added three assists, three rebounds and a steal in the win.
