Jasmine Martin Women’s Basketball Quinnipiac University
Junior, Guard, 5-6, Sicklerville, N.J./
Jasmine Martin played a pivotal role in Quinnipiac’s lone game last week, a game in which the team knocked off previously unbeaten Albany in convincing fashion, 74-53. The marquee matchup featured a pair of College Insider Mid-Major Top 25 teams, with the Great Danes entering as the fourth ranked team in the census. Martin recorded a team-high 16 points, three assists and one rebound in the big road victory for the Bobcats. She was 6-of-8 from the free-throw line and knocked down four field goals on the afternoon. Now in her third year with the program, Martin is on pace to challenge the all-time career point leaders at Quinnipiac. Martin has 925 points and remains just 75 points shy of 1,000 for her career. She would be the 20th player in QU history to accomplish the feat. Martin just wrapped up her fifth semester in a demanding communications program at Quinnipiac.
