Marvin Jordan – Niagara University - Men’s Basketball

Marvin Jordan has played in all but two games during his four-year career at Niagara. Jordan, who is a co-captain this season, has earned MAAC All-Rookie team honors as freshman and was named to the Preseason All-Big Four Second Team this season. Jordan became the 44th member to join Niagara’s 1,000-point club on November 21. Jordan, who holds the Niagara’s single-season 3-point record for a freshman and sophomore, is second all-time in career 3-pointers and needs 51 to become the all-time leader. Jordan will graduate with a degree in sociology.
Chevannah Paalvast – Women’s Basketball - Monmouth University
Sr., G/F, Auckland, New Zealand/Massey
Already a Monmouth graduate with a degree in psychology, Paalvast decided to begin work toward her Master’s in her senior season of eligibility with the Blue & White. The Preseason All-MAAC Third Team honoree has led the Hawks in scoring (14.5 ppg.), rebounding (5.3 rpg.), assists (1.8 apg.), steals (1.5 spg.) and blocks (1.1 bpg.) during non-conference play in 2013-14. Over the last five games, Paalvast has averaged 17.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.0 blocks, while shooting 51.4 percent (36-70) from the floor and 40.0 percent (4-10) from long range. She’s posted the first two double-doubles of her career this season against Wagner and Delaware.
