Clorley and Potrzuski Garner Final Indoor Track & Field Performers of the Week Accolades

Edison, NJ - Iona College's Daniel Clorley and Saint
Peter's University's Shona Potrzuski were named MAAC Indoor Track and Field
Performers of the Week.
Clorley, a Graduate
Student from Luton, England, finished as Iona's top performer at the UW Husky
Classic in Seattle, Washington this past weekend. Clorley was the 15th
collegiate finisher and 22nd overall in the two heat mile
invitational. His time of 4:01.01 topped his season best time from a week
before by .08 seconds. Clorley's mile time is also the second fastest this
season by a MAAC runner.
Potrzuki, a 5-5 junior from Pitman, New Jersey, led the
peacocks in their meet against Manhattan and NJIT in Riverdale New York. She
led the women with a first place finish in the 500m with an ECAC qualifying
time of 1:15.45.
The MAAC Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field
Championships will be held on Friday, February 15th at The New Balance Armory
Track & Field Center in New York City.
