Grenci and Adams Earn Women's Basketball Weekly Honors

Lily Grenci, Siena, Senior,

Grenci had another huge week for the Saints,
averaging a double-double of 20.5 points and 11.5 rebounds while also swiping
3.5 steals in two games. Grenci, who was the game's high scorer, rebounder and
steal leader in both games, posted her eighth double-double of the season
Friday with 24 points, 14 rebounds and three steals vs. Rider. On Sunday she
added 17 points, nine rebounds and tied a career-high with four steals against
Niagara.
Rookie of the Week
Joy Adams, Iona, Freshman, Forward, 5-11, Orlando, FL / Evans
Adams
produced a pair of double-doubles for the Gaels in two games this week. At Saint Peter's, Adams scored 14 points on
7-for-12 shooting from the field, and grabbed 15 rebounds. Adams also dished out two assists in the
contest. Against Canisius, Adams scored
11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
Defensively, Adams set a career high with four steals against the Golden
Griffs.
