Dulin and Coffey Sweep Women's Basketball Weekly Honors

Casey Dulin, Marist, Junior,
Guard, 5-10, Milford, Conn,/Jonathan Law
Dulin had a career weekend, averaging 22.5
points per game and shooting 62.5% from the floor and 60% from three-point
range in Marist’s two convincing wins over Rider and Loyola. The junior guard
also added six assists, two blocks and two steals. On Friday’s 69-44 win versus
Rider, Dulin tied her career-high with 25 points while making a personal best
nine field goals. Her three three-pointers tied for most in her career while
she also went 4-5 from the free throw line and grabbed four rebounds while
adding three assists and a block. Dulin followed up one offensive explosion
with another, dropping 20 points in a 79-55 win at Loyola on Sunday. She was
6-10 from the field and hit three three-pointers for the third consecutive
game. She went 5-7 from the free throw line and again had three assists and a
block while also making two steals on the defensive end.
Rookie of the Week
Sydney Coffey, Marist,
Freshman, Guard, 6-0, New Hope, Minn./Hopkins
Coffey continues to cement herself
as one of the best rookies in the MAAC, averaging nine points and 4.5 rebounds
while making her fourth career start in Marist’s two dominating wins this past
weekend. After grabbing five rebounds in a limited role off of the bench on
Friday versus Rider, Coffey joined the starting lineup on Sunday at Loyola and
did not disappoint. The freshman guard scored 16 points and got another four
rebounds in the Red Foxes 79-55 road victory. After Loyola pulled to within
single digits in the second half, Coffey started the deciding run with one of
her career-high three three-pointers. She also went 5-6 from the free throw
line and added an assist and a steal while tying a personal best with two
blocks.
