DENNIS ZLOBINSKY,

Dennis Zlobinsky had a monumental day for the Stags this
afternoon in Altamonte Springs, Fla. The junior first secured the doubles
point, then clinched the dual win for Fairfield as they defeated Creighton 5-2
to improve to 6-2, 2-0 in the MAAC.
Zlobinsky paired with freshman Ofir Solomon at No. 1 doubles to start
the day. The duo took on Norman/Thompson
and battled until the tiebreaker in which the two shut down their Bluejay
opponents 8-7(1). With the score at 3-2,
Zlobinsky faced Sean Mathison at No. 2 singles.
The Stag came back after dropping the first set and put the match away
by acing Mathison in the final point, 3-6, 6-3, 7-6(6). Fairfield will take on Lehigh University
tomorrow, March 11, at noon in Melbourne, Fla.

Freshman Sarah Hellstern continued her winning streak to
start her career by taking all four singles matches as the Niagara Purple
Eagles went 3-1 in matches in Virginia and Maryland last week. Hellstern is now
10-0 in singles matches to begin her career. She played in her first three-set
match when she defeated George Mason's Kiersten Pappas, 6-3, 4-6, 10-6.
Hellstern had little trouble winning the last three matches during the Purple
Eagles' road trip. She won 6-0, 6-1 against Hampton, 6-0, 6-0 versus Coppin
State and 6-2, 6-2 against Morgan State. Hellstern and her doubles partner Iva
Celan won three of their four matches with the lone blemish coming on Sunday
against Morgan State.
