Olivier Dufour-Coursol extend his singles winning streak to 10 straight with wins over Fairfield and Bryant over the weekend. Dufour-Coursol defeated Fairfield’s Erik Kremheller, 6-3, 6-4, on Saturday and rallied to beat Bryant’s Zac Morris in three sets, 6-7 (5), 6-0, 6-3 on Sunday. Dufour-Coursol improved to a MAAC-best 21-6 on the season, 17-3 in dual matches, 14-0 in three singles and a perfect 5-0 in MAAC play. Dufour-Coursol’s 21 wins are the most since by a Purple Eagle since the 2004-05 season (22).
MAAC Women’s Player of the Week

Sun had a strong week of performances for the Red Foxes versus two of the MAAC’s leading teams, Fairfield and Loyola. On Wednesday at Fairfield, the senior went 2-0 as she swept Allison Radde in straight sets 6-3, 6-3 and teamed with Karly Pang to defeat the Stags’ first doubles team of Yajima and Koladzyn 8-1. On Sunday versus Loyola, Sun clinched the Red Foxes’ fourth point and consequently the match with a hard-fought 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) win over the Greyhounds’ Emily Hughes.
