Loyola Wins 2013 MAAC Men's Golf Championship

Lake Buena Vista, Fla. - Loyola University Maryland claimed its sixth straight conference title at the 2013 MAAC Men's Golf Championship at Disney's Palm Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Fl.
Loyola was led by the 2013 Men’s Golf Rookie of the Year Jimmy Dengler who posted a 217 three-day total and shot at 4 under in the final round (68).
The Greyhounds posted a 3-day total of 881 (+17). Iona College finished in second with 882 and Fairfield University was third with 884. Canisius College came in fourth with 916, followed by Manhattan College (927), Saint Peter’s University (928), Rider University (952), Siena College (973), and Niagara University (985).
Fairfield University’s Len Roberto was voted the 2013 MAAC Men's Golf Coach of the Year.
Steve Burak from Fairfield University earned the McLeod Trophy for top individual score at the championship with an overall score of 208 (-8).
