Butler Wins 2013 MAAC Women's Golf Championship

Lake Buena Vista, Fla. – Butler University claimed its first conference title at the 2013 MAAC Women's Golf Championship at Disney's Palm Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Fl.
Butler was led by the 2013 McLeod Trophy recipient Isabella Lambert who posted a 223 three-day total (+7), good enough for top of the leaderboard.
The Bulldogs posted a 3-day total of 937. Boston University finished in second with 969 and Siena College was third with 983. University of Hartford came in fourth with 1,020, followed by Fairfield University (1,026), Niagara University (1,049), and University at Albany (1,180).
Boston University’s Bruce Chalas was voted the 2013 MAAC Women's Golf Coach of the Year.
Emily Tillo from Boston University was named the 2013 MAAC Rookie of the Year with an individual score at the championship of 249 (+33).
