The 2013 MAAC Men's Lacrosse Championship is set for Friday

Edison, N.J. – The 2013 MAAC Men’s Lacrosse Championship is set to start on Friday, May 3 at Demske Sports Complex on the campus of Canisius College.
The first semifinal features top-seed Marist College against fourth-seed University of Detroit at Mercy at 4:15pm. The second semifinal features second-seed Jacksonville University against third-seed Siena College at 8pm. The championship game will take place Sunday, May 5 at 1pm. All three games will be featured on ESPN3 and Time Warner Cable.
The 2013 Men’s Lacrosse banquet will be held on Thursday, May 2 at 7pm and can be viewed live on MAAC.TV for free.
The top-seed and regular season co-champions, Marist College, finished the regular season with a 10-3 record and 5-1 MAAC mark. They take on fourth-seed, University of Detroit at Mercy, who ended their 2013 campaign with an overall record of 3-9 and a 3-3 record in league play. The two teams previously faced off at Poughkeepsie on March 16 with the Red Foxes earning an 11-8 victory over the Titans.
The second-seed and regular season co-champions, the Jacksonville University Dolphins, finished the year with an overall mark of 8-4 and a 5-1 record in league contest. They will face, the third-seed Siena College Saints who completed their season with an overall record of 7-8 and 4-2 in league matches. The Dolphins earned a close 11-10 victory over the Saints back on March 16.
