Edison, N.J. - The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference's (MAAC) has announced the selection of ANC Sports Enterprises as the Conference’s official LED supplier as voted on by the MAAC’s Council of Presidents.
Through the multi-year partnership, ANC will supply seven 10mm LED Courtside Signage Systems to the MAAC for use by the Conference’s member schools. Ensuring each Conference member maximizes the capabilities of the advanced courtside technology, ANC will also create an unlimited amount of school branding, statistical templates, sponsor animations and entertaining content for each of the signage systems.
“The ANC agreement partners the MAAC with the premier provider of LED Courtside Signage Systems and represents a great step forward in the league’s branding, sponsorship and marketing efforts,” said Richard Ensor, Commissioner, Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. “Once again the MAAC Council of Presidents have agreed to enhance the conference’s basketball presentation with the decision to underwrite the ANC digital signage purchase. Partnering with industry signage leader ANC Sports demonstrates our commitment to providing MAAC member schools, students, alumni and sponsors with the premier collegiate live event experience. ANC’s technology and services will help position the MAAC as the prominent Conference in the Northeast.”
The partnership includes specialized pricing for all 11 MAAC members for any sized or quantity of ANC’s LED video display systems. Similar to the courtside systems, these displays will be driven by VisionSOFT™, ANC’s advanced media control system which is capable of controlling all venue LED displays through one workstation.
In addition to the courtside systems and discounted LED video display pricing for the Conference’s members, ANC will provide signage for MAAC events at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, MA. ANC will supply, install, operate and create content for a 10mm LED Courtside System for the Men’s and Women’s Basketball Conference Championships, as well as for all multi-team Conference events at the venue.
“We are proud to have been selected as the official LED supplier of the MAAC, which shares our vision of creating a dynamic experience during every game,” said Jerome Cifarelli, president and chief executive officer, ANC Sports. “We are committed to introducing our premier signage solutions that we integrate into professional sports venues to the collegiate market with progressive conferences such as the MAAC and its member schools.”
ANC’s courtside signage systems are currently being utilized by 19 of the 30 National Basketball Association teams, including the defending champions the Miami Heat. The company’s most recent video display installations include the unique high-definition rectangular scoreboard with the Indiana Pacers, hexagonal video screens with the Los Angeles Dodgers, the largest display in MLB with the Seattle Mariners, and the largest end zone video boards in football with the Tennessee Titans.
"As an ANC partner for the past year, we could not have selected a better supplier for our Conference signage needs,” said Dr. Joseph E. Nyre, president, Iona College. “ANC’s industry leading technology and senior management commitment to service ensures each of the MAAC’s member schools will receive a game day presentation that is second to none."
