MAAC Announces 2013-14 Championships

EDISON, NJ – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference’s 2013-14 championship schedule gets underway the first weekend of November, and will run throughout the academic year until the penultimate weekend of May. During that time, 25 teams will be crowned MAAC Champions.
Sites for MAAC Championships are chosen by the conference’s Committee on Athletic Administration. A listing of complete championship dates and sites can be viewed via the link.
The first MAAC champions to be crowned in 2013-14 will be at the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships at historic Van Cortlandt Park in New York, hosted by Manhattan College on Nov. 1.
The Women’s Soccer Championship will take place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Lake Buena Vista, FL, Oct. 31 to Nov. 4. All 11 MAAC institutions will participate in Women’s Soccer Championship. The Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships will also be held at Walt Disney World, April 24-27, 2014, at the challenging Palm Golf Course,
The 2014 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships will conclude their three-year run at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield, MA, March 6-10, 2014. Tickets will be available at Ticketmaster, and through all 11 competing schools.
Mercer County Park in West Windsor will once again be the site of the Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships and the Men’s and Women’s Rowing, on the weekend of April 25-27, 2014.
The 2013-14 Championships schedules wraps up in May with Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse (May 1-4), Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field (May 3-4), Softball (May 8-11) and Baseball (May 21-25).
