Baron averaged 30.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game as the Golden Griffins went 2-1 in MAAC action last week. Baron scored at least 25-points in all three games last week, extending his stretch of 25-plus points to five-straight games. In the Griffs’ 94-91 double-overtime win against Rider on Jan. 10, Billy scored a career-high 38 points to go with seven rebounds and seven assists. His night was highlighted when he hit the game-winning 3-pointer in the final seconds of the second overtime period – a shot later featured as the No. 7 play on ESPN’s SportsCenter. He also scored 27 points and grabbed seven rebounds at Marist, and tallied 26 points and hauled in eight rebounds vs. Monmouth. For the week, Baron shot 56 percent from the floor, 45 percent from beyond the three-point arc, and 91 percent from the foul line. He turned the ball over just four times in 124 minutes of action.

Hart averaged 21.7 points per game in three outings last week, including a career-best 24 points at Manhattan. That effort followed a 22-point outing at Siena when he hit 8-of-9 from the foul line and and drained four three-pointers, and a 19-point, 9-rebound outing in a win over Canisius. For the week, Hart shot 45 percent from beyond the three-point arc and 96 per cent from the free throw line and averaged five rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. It is the fourth time that Hart has been honored as the MAAC Rookie of the Week in the 2013-14 seson..
