Sintay Named ECAC Swimmer of the Week

Edison, N.J. – Wyatt Sintay of Canisius College earns ECAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week award for Division I Metro/Upstate
Sintay, a Freshman from Seattle, Wash. swam to a pair of individual victories in the Griffs’ win over Gannon on Saturday. In the 200-yard breaststroke, Sintay set a new Koessler Athletic Center Pool record with a time of 2:09.42. He won the event by more than six seconds. Sintay followed up that performance with a win in the 200-yard IM, posting a time of 1:59.25. Sintay was also part of the Griffs’ 400-yard medley relay team that took second in the meet.
