EDISON, N.J.  – The Canisius College men’s basketball game at Niagara University, scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14, will be broadcast live on ESPNU. Game time at the John J. “Taps” Gallagher Center on the Niagara campus is set for 9:00 p.m.

Also that evening, the Siena men’s team will play at Marist in a game that will be broadcast by EPSN3. Tip-off time at the McCann Center on the Marist campus will be 8 p.m.

Also scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at the McCann Center will be the Marist women’s basketball team hosting Quinnipiac, to be broadcast on ESPNU. That game will tip off at 5 p.m.

Niagara and Canisius will face each other for the second time this season in the “Battle of the Bridge” series. Niagara and Canisius first met in the 1905-06 season, and have played 173 times, with the Purple Eagles holding a 96-77 edge in the series. Canisius won the first meeting this season, defeating Niagara 87-74 on Jan. 22.

Siena and Marist have also established a solid rivalry, with the Saints holding a 49-24 edge in the series. Siena won the first meeting of the two teams this year at home, defeating the Red Foxes 67-58.

The Marist and Quinnipiac women’s series is a young one, but one that promises to develop. The two teams have met just twice, with each team claiming a win. Marist won the first meeting with the Bobcats this season, scoring a 69-63 victory in December.
