Springfield, MA – MAAC-ACHUSETTS is returning to the MassMutual Center in Springfield from March 6-10, 2014 and you can be there for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) games of your choice. Single Session Passes go on sale February 1. Tickets can be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets, online at Ticketmaster.com, the MassMutual Center Box Office or charged by phone at 800-745-3000. The winner of the MAAC Men’s and Women’s Championships will each receive an automatic bid into the NCAA Division I Championship Tournament. The MAAC consists of the following eleven schools - the Canisius Golden Griffins, Fairfield University Stags, Iona Gaels, Manhattan Jaspers, Monmouth Hawks, Marist Red Foxes, Niagara Purple Eagles, Quinnipiac Bobcats, Rider Broncs, Saint Peter’s Peacocks and Siena Saints.
There are 9 Single Sessions and a total of 20 games as outlined below. Single Session Passes are available starting at just $10. Additional Single Session prices are $10, $20, $30, $50 and $100 for Men’s sessions and $10, $15, $25, $30 and $75 for Women’s Sessions. “Western Massachusetts has been introduced to the excitement of Division I MAAC basketball in March for the past two years and saw Iona advance to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championships in a thrilling MAAC 2013 Championship game with Manhattan. The Marist women’s team won the 2013 Championships handily and then advanced to the NCAAs where they lost to Michigan State in a close, hard played game,” noted MAAC Commissioner, Richard J. Ensor. “This year the MAAC has seven men's teams and three or four women's teams in close races for the league titles and the NCAA bid to the ‘Big Dance’. I would not be surprised to see at-large bids in the mix come March. I hope local fans will join us at the MassMutual Center and support these intense rivalries."

VIP packages can also be purchased for $400 or $250 and include a one day pass to the Basketball Hall of Fame, an official game program and exclusive access to the CoorsLight Hospitality Lounge during the Championships.
