Ike Azotam matched his season-high with 24 points, and established a new season-best with 16 rebounds, in a 94-77 win at Monmouth. For Azotam, it was his seventh double-double of the season and 33rd of his career. Azotam was very efficient on the offensive end, sinking 8-of-13 from the floor and 8-of-10 from the free-throw line. He also grabbed eight offensive rebounds, which aided in the Bobcats’ 20 second chance points. Azotam has tallied at least 17 points in five straight games.

Guard Khallid Hart led Marist to its fourth straight win, a 75-56 decision over Fairfield, on Jan. 2. Hart was the game’s high scorer with 15 points, and added four rebounds, three assists and three steals. He played a key role as Marist broke out to a 13-0 lead against the Stags, with seven points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals. This is the third time that Hart has been honored as MAAC Rookie of the Week.
