Bobcats Azotam Honored By ECAC

Edison, N.J.—Senior forward Ike Azotam of Quinnipiac University has been honored as the Corvias ECAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for Division I – New England.
Azotam, who was also named Player of the Week by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and was MAAC “Player of the Week” by College Sports Madness, matched his season-high with 24 points in a 94-77 win at Monmouth. Azotam also established a season-best with 16 rebounds in the victory. It was the seventh double-double of the season, and 33rd of his career, for Azotam.
Azotam hit 8-of-13 of his shots from the floor, and was 8-of-10 from the free throw line. Azotam snared eight offensive boards, which aided in the Bobcats’ 20 second chance points. Azotam has scored at least 17 points in five straight games.
