MAAC Announces Sites of Baseball Championships for Next Two Years Cross Country, Water Polo and Outdoor Track and Field Selected By Conference

EDISON, N.J. – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference has announced the site of the MAAC Baseball Championships for the next two years. In 2015, the MAAC Baseball Championships will return to Dutchess Stadium in Fishkill, N.Y. hosted by Manhattan College and will move to ARM & HAMMER Park in Trenton, N.J. the following year as hosted by Rider University.

The MAAC last hosted the Baseball Championships at Dutchess Stadium in 2010 when Rider took home the crown. The stadium has hosted a total of 11 MAAC Baseball Championships. The venue holds 4,500 fans and opened in 1994. Dutches Stadium is home to the Hudson Valley Renegades.

In 2013, ARM & HAMMER Park hosted the Baseball Championships and Canisius was named MAAC Champions. The stadium has hosted the MAAC three times previously when it was named Mercer County Waterfront Park. ARM & HAMMER Park is the home baseball park for the Trenton Thunder of the Eastern League and has a seating capacity of 6,150.

The league also announced the sites for the 2015 MAAC Cross Country, 2016 Water Polo and 2016 Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The Cross Country Championships will be hosted by Rider University at Rosedale Park in Pennington, N.J. Water Polo will return to Marist’s McCann Natatorium and hosted by Marist College. Outdoor Track and Field will also be hosted by Rider University at its campus track and field complex.
